I am a versatile and multifaceted 3D Artist with a Red River College diploma in Digital Media Design and majoring in 3D Computer Graphics.
Throughout this program, I have had the opportunity to learn a magnitude of 3D software including Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, and more. Due to the multidisciplinary nature of Digital Media Design, I also have extensive knowledge of relevant skills such as Graphic Design, Typography, Concept Art, Programming, Visual Effects, and Photography.
My range of 3D experience includes:
• Hard Surface Modelling
• 3D Sculpting
• Texturing (Substance Painter and Photoshop)
• Lighting & Rendering
• Videogame Design & Programming
• Animation and Posing
• Material & Texture Creation
My experience has also included character modelling, asset, and environment creation, both stylized and realistic. I have had the unique opportunity of working remotely through my second year of College where I was able to work independently while still maintaining the same high standard of work that I was able to achieve in person. In my first year, I was able to work closely with teams and have a keen understanding of a dynamic workflow, which I was also able to execute remotely during my work placement with Project Whitecard.
I am both eager and enthusiastic to contribute and grow alongside the 3D world, and look forward to my future career opportunities.
I currently perform as a freelance 3D Generalist for the indie studio Super Normal Corp, working on updates for their released mobile game "Tower Defense Inc." Here I enjoy a large variety of roles and have had many opportunities to learn new skills as well as expand on the ones I had when I joined them.
My roles there have included:
• 3D Character and Environment Modeller
• 3D Texture Artist
• Graphic Design Artist
• Concept Artist
• VFX Artist
Working closely with the Lead Game Designer, I have also successfully contributed to the overall art direction and game design throughout our multiple updates. This has included redesigning and conceiving character classes, designing new worlds, re-routing skill tree layouts, and aiding in the conceptualization of new features.
This role has been an absolute pleasure!
I had the wonderful opportunity to perform my internship with the VR studio Project Whitecard. There I worked on an upcoming VR gaming project's assets with a team of interns, as well as working closely with my Supervisors and the Director.
My experience there included:
• Proficiently modelled and textured video-game-ready assets
• Effectively communicated with managers in order to ensure that progress met high-quality
industry standards
• Coordinated closely with team members to guarantee cohesive design
• Ensured a clean and efficient pipeline workflow while sharing assets with other teammates.
• Excelled in a self-sufficient and remote environment
